Meet the Pastors
Pastor Kraig and his family came to Chisago Lakes Baptist Church in August of 2009. Kraig grew up in Green Bay, WI and he and Laura have lived in several places around the country since they were married 27 years ago. Most recently he and his family served at Beth Eden Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, CO. Besides pastoring, his ministry experience includes Christian camp work, Christian publishing, and pastoral counseling.
Kraig got his undergraduate degree from Northland Baptist Bible College, his M.Div. (1996) from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, and his D.Min. (2016) in Pastoral Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He has been certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors since 2005.
Pastor Kraig and his wife, Laura, have four children: Justin (United States Naval Academy), Jessica (Bob Jones University), Riley (United States Air Force Academy), and Kaylee (University of Minnesota). They are all thrilled to be ministering at CLBC and are grateful for the difference that the gospel has made in their lives. Kraig's vision for each believer is that they be spiritually growing as they work (Phil 2:12-13) and see Christ (2 Cor 3:18).
Pastor Ben began serving at Chisago Lakes in May of 2015. He was born and raised in Rochester, MN.
Ben earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2009 and an M.Div from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in 2019.
Pastor Ben and his wife, Autumn, have been blessed with five children: Ellie, Adalyn, Lucy, Hudson, and Cooper.
Mr. Elliott began serving at Chisago Lakes Baptist School in July of 2014. Prior to moving to the Minnesota area, he was a teacher and the administrator of a Christian school located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Michael received a B.A. in Music from Cornerstone University and went on to earn a Post-Bachelor Teaching Certificate - Elementary Education from Northern Michigan University. He has seven years’ experience in teaching/administration in Christian Education. Michael is currently working toward a Master’s of Education degree.
Michael and his wife, Laura, have six children: Seth, Jonah, Benjamin, Joshua, Lily, and Russell.
